Here at Même Chose we are major plant lovers, so it's only fitting to name our super-heaven new style after botanist Marie Taylor, the first woman to earn a doctorate in the sciences from Fordham University, and later went on to run the Botany Department at Howard University until her death. This roomy popover tunic style features a posterior covering shirt-tail, and a hidden roll tab that allows you to roll your sleeves up to one of two shirt lengths. Made for the greenhouse, rain-forest, vegetable garden, classroom, zoom call, balcony, beach, boat or bedroom. Maybe never take it off?
The Taylor Tunic is a made up in our breezy cotton poplin (100% and sustainable, natch!) and features a long placket with horn buttons. Roomy without being sloppy, its slightly exaggerated shirt-tail you will always cover your best assets. Hidden inside the sleeve is a roll tab that allows you to adjust the shirt to short and shorter sleeve at one of two button positions. Wear this as a beach cover up, to your next zoom conference, to back your next sourdough loaf or just to lounge around on the sofa.
If you insist on dry-cleaning this shirt (which we do not encourage!) make sure you do so in a green/eco-friendly dry-cleaner. All our shirts can be machine washed on warm with like colors. Hang dry and learn how to iron!
The Taylor works tucked as a shirt or untucked as a tunic.
